Most cofounder breakups start with something left unsaid.
I help founders say the hard thing before it becomes the expensive thing. Cofounder mediation, conflict coaching and leadership coaching, based in Mexico City and working with founders everywhere.
How I work
-
Cofounder mediation
For when a conflict between cofounders is already live. Equity, roles, direction, or trust: I help you both say what hasn't been said and agree on a way forward.
-
Codex of Communication
A working agreement for how you and your cofounders communicate, decide, and disagree. Built before things get hard, so the next conflict doesn't become a crisis.
-
Leadership coaching
For founders carrying it alone. One-to-one coaching on the conversations you're avoiding, the team you're leading, and the leader you're becoming.

About Magdalena
I'm Magdalena Jensen, a cofounder mediator and conflict coach based in Mexico City. I work with startup founders, cofounder teams and VC-backed companies.
I've been a cofounder myself, so I know how much goes unspoken between partners when the stakes are high. My work is grounded in Nonviolent Communication.
And honestly? I love conflict. Handled well, it's where partnerships get stronger.
FAQs
-
A cofounder mediator is a neutral third party who helps cofounders work through a conflict together, whether it's about equity, roles, strategy, or trust. I help each person say what they haven't been able to say, hear the other, and agree on concrete next steps. The goal is a partnership that works, or a separation that doesn't destroy the company.

Earlier than most founders think. Good signs it's time: the same argument keeps coming back, decisions stall because you avoid each other, you're rehearsing conversations you never have, or an investor or team member has noticed the tension. Mediation works best before lawyers are involved, not after.
-
The Codex of Communication is a preventative agreement I build with cofounder teams. It sets out how you'll communicate, make decisions, give feedback, and handle disagreement, so you have a shared playbook before the hard moments arrive.

Left Unsaid is my monthly online circle for founders, held the third Tuesday of every month at 10am Mexico City time. It's one founder per company, 4 to 12 people, for 60 minutes, and $100 per session as a drop-in. You leave with one sentence you can say to your cofounder or team the same day.

Yes. I'm based in Mexico City, and most of my mediation and coaching happens online, so I work with founders and cofounder teams wherever they are.
